Historically, a TBH division was split into four groups: Leader, Core, Members and Applicant. Since the EQ2 branch's inception, there has been a need for more suitable ranks and the current format has evolved over the last three years.

The EQ2 branch has chosen to further divide these into seven different ranks: President, Executive, Advisor, Seeker, Veteran, Member and Applicant.


President (The Leader)
The President is the head of the branch and in-charge of overseeing the day-to-day activities within the guild. The President is the acting head of the Core group, ensuring that all Core members are performing adequately and is responsible for the overall progression and stability of the TBH:EQ2 branch. Current leader of TBH:EQ2 is Andarielle.


Executive (The CEOs)
An Executive in its own right, is a leader and a supporter, ever willing to aide and assist TBH members off their own back. An Executive's job is not a perk to be worn lightly; the position carries heavy responsibilities and should be more considered as work rather than status thing. The Executive/Core member's job varies from arranging events, communication (within and outside the guild), policing guild chat, raid leading and making sure the guild is driven forward and running smoothly. An Executive rank is 2nd in command, which implies taking responsibility and leadership even when the leader is online. Advisor (The Core Support)
Those who hold the rank of Advisor are there to support the Core on a multitude of given tasks. Each has a specific role with the structure which they carry out daily, which aides and assists the Core so that they can get on with Leading the guild. Should a member have something to bring up with the Core, the Advisors are your first port of call. Please Refer to the Branch Information to see who the Advisors of TBH:EQ2 are.


Seeker (Selected Group of Guild Recruiters)
A Seeker is a selected Veteran tasked with the sole purpose of recruitment for the guild. They are the recruiting arm of the core and are able and willing to help when no core officers are online. They also regularly assist the core in running guild groups when there are no raids and this rank houses the Class Leaders.


Veteran (Selected Group of Guild loyalists)
The Veteran is a Member that has been in good standing with The BlackHand for over 3 months.
However this rank is not attainable by just being a member for 3 months you have to have been an active Member. This means joining in on guild chat guild raids and groups with the guild helping out other people in the guild. As an added bonus to attaining veteran status you are able to acquire loans from the guild bank. However we do expect these loans to be paid back, either in installments or a lump sum. We will also need to know what you need the money for, when we decide if you should be given it or not. Promotion to Veteran is not guaranteed unless you are doing all of the above.
This rank only contains main characters.


Member (Our Main Member Force)
The Members are the main part of The BlackHand community. Without them, there would be no guild, and it is through them that the destiny and future of TBH is molded ensuring what we uphold, that 'We Always Prevail!'
This rank contains every other toon that is not desribed elsewhere.


Applicant (New Members)
An Applicant is exactly that. The potential new Members/Leaders of the future. Through the 2-week screening process the guild judges and evaluates if an Applicant is compatible with the guild, and if so is brought into the TBH fold. If rejected please do not take it as an insult we only wish to ensure that the stable, compatible atmosphere of our guild is retained.
