When you join the guild you will get a guild chat. A lot of players don't seem to know this but you can modify your chat tabs and create multiple channels on the same screen at once. These is done by right-clicking on the chat page, and then select Window Settings. You can now add or remove the different channels you want combined, this is quite useful if you want to listen to guild chat, group chat and instant messages, but want to avoid battle spam or spatial.

When a guild meeting is required, they are held on Sunday at 20:00 UTC (in winter) and 19:00 UTC (in the summer). For more information about time zones, visit the Greenwich Mean Time home page, check a timezone map, or look ->here<-. These meetings are only mandatory for the core members and those online, however and if you want anything to say about guild politics, then you should attend these meetings.
